The revealing of caste name in the names of the persons is the vital reason for showing un-due favour. I feel it as against the article 14 and 15 of Indian Constitution.
The Article 14 envisages equality for every person in the country. Article 15 envisages the prohibition of discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, race,etc. The revealing of caste name of a person in his name is contrary to the above said provisions of the Indian Constitution.
The disadvantages of revealing caste in name are as follows :
1. It is widening the gap among the people and castes, leading to the national disintegration.
2. It is causing the un-due favour to certain section of people and leading to disparities.
3. It is cause of discrimination on lower castes by upper classes. The erstwhile lower classes also discriminate the present lower classes.
4. The lower classes also feel insecurity in presence of the persons revealing caste name in the name .
5. It is also leading to inequalities and social Justice in the society.
6. It is leading to the caste based politics, neglecting the efficiency of the people.
Many other ramifications can be written and previous incidents can be discussed. But, my intension is to work for casteless society, said my wife. She want to file a Public Interest Litigation to remove the caste names from the names of all Indians.
