While Reading article on the transport Systems of the west, I came to know that they share the information to the travelling people about the moment of Buses through the GPS systems.

Similarly, while travelling in a cab, i had seen the drivers using the GPS, enabling the head office to know the place of vehicle and movement of vehicles.
In this regard, TSRTC can use the similar system for the benifit of the people. The advantages of the initiative is as follows :
1.
It can increase the occupancy ratio. Thus, increase the Revenue of the organisation.
2. It also ensures the reliability of arrival of buses. Service delivery automatically increases.
3.It saves the valuable money of travelling people by avoiding the costly auto journeys and cabs. Citizen’s satisfaction automatically increases.
4. Crime rate can be also decreases by avoiding unsafe journeys in the private vehicles.
5. It protects the environment by effectively using the public transport systems.
6. The traffic congestions can be decreased.
7. Through the economic development of the RTC, organisation can be expanded. Additional employment opportunities can be created.

The methodology of implementation should be in such a way that all the metro buses should be connected with GPS, as middle class and upper middle classes get into these buses and they will definitely use the smart phones and comes to know the status of buses. Display booards of arrival/ status / touch screen enquiry systems should be installed to enable more people to know.
